Touchy Topics is a round-the-clock, online tele-health service for dermatology care providing patients virtual access to board-certified doctors for their skin issues. Once registered, patients answer a few questions about their skin condition and send us a couple of pictures. Our doctors then provide a diagnosis and treatment plan, including a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, if requested. Patients are able to access affordable dermatology services from anywhere – no more lengthy wait times for appointments and trips to meet a doctor.

How does Touchy Topics work?

Touchy Topics is a web based tele-health service for dermatology care. We allow a user with a skin issue to enter details about their concern along with a couple of pictures. They then receive a diagnosis, treatment plan and a prescription (if requested) – all from a licensed physician within 24 hours. Our team of doctors are available around the clock to provide patients peace of mind and alleviate their skin concerns.

Who may access Touchy Topics’ range of services?

Any adult can use Touchy Topics’ services. Minors under the age of 18 can be seen with the consent of a parent or guardian.

What is the cost for Touchy Topics service?

Touchy Topics service is available to you for US $49 per case. We have special offers and discounts from time to time, so please subscribe to our newsletter and receive these awesome offers.

What skin conditions can be treated online through Touchy Topics?

Our board-certified physicians are trained to diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions. Depending on the case, the doctor may determine that an in-office visit is needed for a more accurate diagnosis or to best address the condition. This in-office visit would be outside of Touchy Topics’ tele-dermatology services.

Does Touchy Topics treat emergency skin issues?

Touchy Topics’ tele-health services are not to be used in the event of an emergency. In case of an urgent medical or life-threatening emergency, please dial 911 immediately.

What if I have additional questions about a diagnosis and/or treatment plan?

How do I receive my prescription at Touchy Topics?

Your prescriptions will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

Where is Touchy Topics currently available?

Touchy Topics services are currently only available in the state of Illinois. Please subscribe to our newsletter to know when Touchy Topics will be available in other states.

What are Touchy Topics’ working hours?

Touchy Topics is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even on holidays. We mean it when we say we are round-the-clock!

Yes. You may access virtual care in any state where Touchy Topics is currently available.

How do I know if Touchy Topics has received my case?

Once we receive your case, we will send you an email along with a unique Case ID. You may also check your case status on your Account Page / My Cases Dashboard.

How do I edit my Touchy Topics profile information?

You can log into your account and change your profile information the My Account page.

Do your panel of doctors support multiple languages?

Touchy Topics is available only in English at this time.

How do I provide feedback for Touchy Topics’ services?

What are the payment options available at Touchy Topics?

You may make payments using a debit card or a credit card. On supported devices, you may also make payments via Apple Pay or Google Pay.

How does Touchy Topics work with my health insurance?

Specialist consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans are not covered by insurance as we set cash pay prices that are more affordable than your usual insurance co-pays. We accept HSA / FSA card payments which allow you to save nearly 30% on treatment since the funds are pre-tax dollars. You may use your insurance for prescriptions at the pharmacy.

Privacy
Is the information I provide safe, secure & confidential?

We take patient safety, security and privacy very seriously. Your information is never shared unless we have your consent. Patient photos, personal and medical information and diagnoses are never made public.

How is my health information used?

Touchy Topics uses patients’ health information (including a patient’s medical history, diagnoses, treatments, current medical condition, and use of prescription medications) to provide healthcare services to its patients. If you’d like more information about how Touchy Topics uses and discloses patient health information, please review our Privacy Policy available here

Can I receive a copy of my case?

Yes. Please log in to your account. On your account dashboard, you will see a list of cases (if you have a history of past cases). Select the case you want to receive. Once your case details are up, at the bottom of the screen you have to select the button to email a copy of your case to the email address provided during registration.
